For workforce and business management services, customers are generally the Data Controllers of employee and business information they submit. TaggNet Technologies acts as a Data Processor on behalf of customers when processing such information to provide the services.
TaggNet may also act as an independent Data Controller for information related to account management, billing, security, compliance, and service operation.
For EU personal data, processing is based on applicable legal grounds including contractual necessity, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and consent where required. Customers subject to GDPR may request or execute TaggNet's Data Processing Agreement.
TaggNet may use selected sub-processors including Supabase, Vercel, Resend, payment providers, and cloud infrastructure providers. Customers may request an updated list by contacting privacy@taggnet.app.
TaggNet implements security controls including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest where supported, role-based access controls, authentication and authorization controls, audit logging and monitoring, secure backup procedures, and vulnerability management practices.
In the event of a confirmed personal data breach, TaggNet will notify affected customers and applicable supervisory authorities as required by law, including GDPR requirements where applicable.
